Cody and Veronica aren’t just clients — they’ve become some of my best friends, and photographing their family always feels less like work and more like spending time with people I love. There’s a level of comfort, trust, and genuine connection that you simply can’t fake, and it shows in every single image we create together.

Together, they are raising four incredible girls, each with her own personality, spark, and sense of joy. Their sessions are full of movement, laughter, a little chaos (the good kind), and so much love. There are giggles that turn into belly laughs, tight hugs that last just a little longer, and moments where everything feels perfectly real.

Cody and Veronica have created a home filled with warmth, patience, and fun. Watching them interact with their girls — guiding, encouraging, and loving them so fiercely — is something truly special to witness. These are the moments that matter: the way tiny hands reach for theirs, the way the girls pile in close, the way love shows up without being asked.

Every time I photograph this family, I’m reminded why I do what I do. It’s not about perfect poses or everyone looking at the camera. It’s about preserving connection, documenting the season you’re in, and holding onto the memories that move far too quickly.

The Mercer girls are growing — as kids always do — and these images are a way to freeze time just for a moment. To remember the laughter, the closeness, and the beautiful, messy magic of this chapter.

Cody and Veronica, thank you for trusting me not only as your photographer, but as your friend. Thank you for letting me into your world and allowing me to document your family exactly as you are. Your love is loud, deep, and genuine — and it is always an honour to capture it. 🤍

This session is one I’ll always hold close, because it represents everything I believe family photography should be: honest, heartfelt, and full of life.
